Russell Lawrence, CPA
Managing Partner

Russell has a broad background as a CPA.  His public accounting experience started in 2011 and since then he has held corporate accounting roles for some larger companies throughout Tampa Bay.    He ultimately wanted to move back into public accounting because he enjoys working with small business owners and wanted to feel more connected to his work.  He is from Mobile, AL, served on active duty in the U.S. Air Force from 2002-2007, and holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Alabama, with some graduate work for CPA eligibility at Louisiana State University.

He currently lives in South Tampa with his wife Julie, son Brody and their two English Bulldogs (Cupcake & Romeo).  He enjoys watching football, golfing, boating, and volunteering with the Florida English Bulldog rescue.

Rory Vanderbilt, EA
Partner

Rory started his public accounting experience in 2015 working for a small accounting firm on Long Island, New York. He graduated in 2016 from St. Joseph’s College with a B.S. in Accounting and then again in 2017 with his M.B.A. in Accounting. Shortly after, he got married to his wife Lindsay and moved to Tampa in July of 2017. Since moving Rory has worked for a few public accounting firms in the Tampa Bay area specializing in Small Business and Individual Tax Preparation/Tax Planning along with bookkeeping and payroll services. He is an Enrolled Agent with the IRS.

Rory currently lives in Riverview with his wife Lindsay and their dog Bailey. He is an avid fitness junkie, foodie and enjoys spending quality time with his wife and friends any chance he gets.

Kristina Schaffer
Client Relations Manager and Payroll Specialist

Kristina manages the client relationship as well as assisting with  income tax preparation, client payroll, bookkeeping and handling general client tax issues.   She grew up in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Kristina considers herself a foodie, and she loves to cook with her Chef husband on nights off together.  She is a new mom, but any free time she has is spent cozying up to a good book with a glass of wine in hand.

Lisa Belair
Client Relations Manager

Lisa grew up in Columbus, Ohio and attended Wright State University. She and her husband Peter moved down to Florida in 2015 to get away from the cold weather…Now they love to escape to Canada and the mountains.

She and her husband share their home with their own cats as well as those that they foster for a local rescue. They are both avid runners and triathletes. On most weekends they are either out training, racing, or spending time with family.

Ashlynn Hill
Office Manager

Ashlynn is a recent graduate of University of Tampa.  She currently lives in South Tampa with her sweet puppy Charlie.
